ANNOUNCEMENTS
| Recently,
a long time Wexford neighbor, Tom Ryan, Age 60, was paralyzed
in a swimming accident while on Spring Break with his wife,
Mary, near Ixtapa, Mexico. Following the accident, Tom was
evacuated to a hospital in Houston for surgery. Mary has been
staying in Houston trying to deal with the myriad of issues
relating to Tom’s treatment. Tom and Mary are both instructors
at MATC. There are many costs related to Tom’s care
and Mary’s stay that are not covered by insurance. Eventually,
Tom will need to be flown back to Wisconsin to continue a
long rehabilitation process. The friends of Tom and Mary Ryan
are seeking donations to assist with these burdensome expenses.
Donations (which are tax deductible) may
be made to the MATC Foundation- Tom Ryan Fund, 3550 Anderson
Street, Madison, WI 53704-2599. The Foundation’s telephone
number is: 246-6440. Mr. Robert Dinndorf, CFRE Is the executive
director and he is more than willing to answer any questions
you may have about the fund. A receipt will be issued to
you for your records.
