Egg Hunt |
 |
|
Each
year on the Saturday right before Easter, the neighborhood
gathers together to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt.
The Easter bunny never fails to make the trip to visit
and hand out treats to the kids even though it's just
before his busiest day of the year.

| On
the fourth of July, the creativeness comes out in colors
of red, white and blue when children young and old decorate
wagons, tricycles, bikes and themselves with patriotic flags,
balloons, and decorations. The parade line starts forming
at 9:45 a.m. at the corner of South Woodmont
and Sawmill. At 10:00 a.m., with our official
police escort, we begin to march & ride towards Wexford
park. For those of you who choose not to be in the parade,
come out and watch! Once at the park, we enjoy hot dogs,
chips and soda. There are also a variety of games to entertain
the children. See pictures
from last year's fouth of July event.

| Each
year in May, Wexford Homeowner's association sponsors an
area-wide garage sale. They provide advertising in the local
newspapers, signs near the entrances of the neighborhood,
and a list of sale sites, along with featured items for
sale are provided to each participant prior to the sale,
for distribution to customers. This is a great way to get
rid of all the stuff that has been piling up in your house
or that your children have outgrown. No fees/percentage
of sales are required.
This
year's event will be held
Friday and Saturday, May 7th and 8th.
