Each
year on the Saturday right before Easter, the neighborhood
gathers together to participate in an Easter Egg Hunt.
The Easter bunny never fails to make the trip to visit
and hand out treats to the kids even though it's just
before his busiest day of the year.

| On
the fourth of July, the creativeness comes out in colors
of red, white and blue when children young and old decorate
wagons, tricycles, bikes and themselves with patriotic flags,
balloons, and decorations. The parade line starts forming
at 9:45 a.m. at the corner of South Woodmont
and Sawmill. At 10:00 a.m., with our official
police escort, we begin to march & ride towards Wexford
park. For those of you who choose not to be in the parade,
come out and watch! Once at the park, we enjoy hot dogs,
chips and soda. There are also a variety of games to entertain
the children. See pictures
from last year's fouth of July event.

for children who in the fall will enter kindergarten
or first grade.
Coach Pitch: A Wednesday evening
league for children who in the fall will enter second
or third grade.
Application deadline is April 23, 2013
The $30 registration fee includes a cool T-shirt
and hat for each player. You can request your child
play on a team with a friend but this is not guaranteed.
All games are played at Wexford Park at either 5:30

July 30/31. Each team is scheduled to play eight
games. No games are scheduled for the week of July

Coaches: This league has been successful
because of the terrific support and involvement
from parents. Please consider coaching. It’s
a low level of commitment and you typically get
a snack after each game.

This
program only works because of the volunteers. Please
consider coaching your son or daughter in this this
fun summer activity.
T-Ball
This league concentrates on the basics of baseball,
teaching the skills and keeping a low-key approach
to the game. It is for children entering Kindergarten
or First Grade in the fall.
Coach-Pitch
This league is a more skilled game, played without
a tee, and either a parent or a coach pitches the
ball. It is for children entering Second or Third
Grade in the fall.
Your child’s grade next fall determines in which
league he/she will play. No exceptions will be made.
